Engineered Hardwoods
Excellent for houses and commercial areas. Engineered hardwood uses less of the high value hardwood making it more environmentally friendly than most solid hard wood. Engineered hard wood flooring can be installed over concrete floors most often in a floating floor installation, but also using a glue down floor installation method as well.
Installing Laminate Flooring
Laminate floors can go in any room over a clean and dry subfloor. The plastic-coated planks are slippery when wet, so laminate isn’t a good choice for bathrooms and laundry rooms. You can install a floating floor system over existing floors that are flat and in good condition.
Solid Hardwood Floor Installation
Solid hardwood strip flooring should be installed over a clean, dry wood subfloor. Avoid bathrooms, laundry rooms, and below-grade basements.
